“I called Nyce Gardens when I wanted to make my backyard more of a bird sanctuary. Living on a very natural, wooded lot, I felt strongly about not wanting to bring in a lot of man made products. Tina came up with incredibly creative landscaping ideas using a lot of material that was already in my yard…downed trees, large rounds etc. Adding some additional plants that have various bird friendly characteristics finished off the look and made it very attractive to the birds. I’m very happy with the end result and my yard has more bird activity than ever before. I also used Nyce Gardens for some yard lighting that I am happy with. We are so happy with our new front yard! Nyce Gardens did such a wonderful job changing the overgrown, dark, uninviting space – or the Haunted Forest as I called it – into a space that is open and inviting. Tina had great ideas for some tricky coverage areas, and showed me pictures and websites so I understood what her vision was. I love knowing these plants will grow to fit the space and never overwhelm it. The variety and year round color is so refreshing after all that dark green. And Nyce Gardens is so easy to work with. Emails are replied to promptly. Workers show up when they say they will. And at the end of each day, the tools were put away nicely and the driveway and walkway were cleaned. They also took great care not to inconvenience my neighbor, and even cleaned up her yard too. It’s the little details that make a big difference. I would gladly use Nyce Gardens again!

They won the bid over five other contractors by communicating clearly that they understood our needs, and the requirements for the City of Redmond. They clearly understood the project, and spoke to what we wanted to see here…Tina’s extensive knowledge of appropriate landscape plants gave us more and bigger plants, which were better suited to our conditions than the original plan…Jay designed and installed an innovative irrigation system that allowed us to use reclaimed storm water to water all of our plantings…It has performed flawlessly and saved us $1500 in water the first summer… Aftercare of the project has been superb…
